This is the fourth updated popular edition of an introduction to ophthalmology. The first edition was awarded the Asher Prize by the Royal Society of Medicine. The text material is primarily arranged by anatomical structure. The third part covers special topics related to diseases and clinical treatment. The last part is dedicated to solving clinical problems. The fourth edition has been thoroughly revised, updated, and expanded to ensure the material is relevant to readers from different countries who need an introduction to ophthalmology.
